This exclusive Alaska bear hunting trip for women is a 5-day/ 4-night, Do It Yourself (DIY) hunt.

This trip also offers a knowledgeable host from WHA that will be onboard to help answer questions, help you prepare and provide support.

You will depart from the port at Whittier, Alaska, offering remote access, a professional vessel operation, and comfortable onboard accommodations with hot showers and a restroom to ensure you’re comfortable for your stay. The trip also includes meals and can accommodate any food allergies or restrictions.

Please note: The host will remain on board and will not be able to go ashore to help with the hunt. This is a DIY hunt with support from WHA.

This is more than a Hunt opportunity, these 6 ladies will also enjoy fishing daily for Alaskan halibut, Rockfish & Pacific Cod.

This can be a lot of fun catching fish, while glassing hillsides for your big, beautiful Black Bear!

All rods, tackle, bait and fish processing included.

This combination of DIY Alaska hunting and fishing makes the trip ideal for capable, independent, opportunistic women.

Guests will be transported from the large marine vessel via skiff to be dropped off ashore for starting their DIY, spot & stalk hunt.

This hunt opportunity includes lengthy preparation to make sure ladies are comfortable and prepared and know what to expect.

Departure Port: Whittier, Alaska

Departure Date: May 14th, 2026

Departure Time: 5:30am

Return Date: May 18th, 2026

Trip Length: 5 days/4 nights

Group Size: Maximum of 6 women, with host

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot and the remaining balance is due March 1, 2026.

Taxes & fees are included in this price. Please factor in tips for captain and crew

Traveling to Whittier needs to be planned out, as you must plan to get through the 5:30am tunnel to ensure an early departure for the trip.

Upon return for 18th, plan to arrive back to Whittier at the end of the day, which will be late into the evening.

This is a great opportunity for residents of Alaska, as well as, non residents. For non, residents, you will need to purchase a non-residents hunting license, fishing license and the Black Bear Registration permit.

We are excited to offer this trip as it’s prime time for hunting bear in Prince William Sounds and a great time for halibut fishing.

We will provide recommended gear packing lists and plan zoom calls ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable and prepared for a trip of a lifetime!
