Class Description:
This four-hour DIY sausage and jerky making class is a hands-on workshop designed to guide participants through the complete process of turning game meat into flavorful, shelf-stable products. Participants will learn safe meat handling and preparation, grinding and seasoning techniques, basic sausage formulation, casing methods, and jerky slicing, marinating, and drying. The class also covers food safety, curing basics, equipment options for home use, and storage methods. By the end of the class, participants will have a clear understanding of the field-to-table process and the confidence to make their own sausage and jerky at home.
