We’ll plan hiking trips for all levels of activities to prepare for the hunt.
Plan to bring your binoculars as we’ll be glassing hillsides or out into meadows for wildlife viewing.
Each conditioning trip will be a different level for the Huntress. Ranging from the beginner Huntress and just starting out or perhaps you’re Mountain Huntress and looking for an intense difficult climb up the moutainside.
Studying habitat is a big part of understanding wildlife. This is a prime opportunity to observe any signs of wildlife along the trail. Identifying key signs like tracks, scat, game trails or tuning into the sounds of nature.
As a group, or even if you’re out on a solo hike, take the time to identify certain habitat needs, noting behaviors and understanding ecosystem connections to appreciate biodiversity and how animals use their environments.
